Voice Tunnel in NYC

The Park Avenue Tunnel in NYC, hosts an interesting interactive installation, and allows,

for the first time in history, pedestrians to walk through it.

The art installation “Voice Tunnel”, conceived and created by electronic artist Rafael Lozano-Hemmer,

converts participants voices (which are recorded and reproduced by a silver intercom)

into waves of light and sound and transforms the tunnel into a transitory, expressive and emotional experience.
